10/10/2023 0 Comments Diablo 3 reddit![]() ![]() ![]() If you want, you can take a look here, which is what I would have hoped affixes/legendaries could have been in D3 - maybe you can relate. It definitely was streamlined and a downgrade compared to D2. the Itemization was / is terrible for too numerous reasons to count or list here, but you can find a lot of people talk about here on reddit or the official forums for why they think/feel that way.lack of a certain feeling of progression (no Attribute Points, no Skill Points).the colors in D3 were very saturated, while it was also lacking darkness, the lightning was bright and made it look that the air itself is glowing/radiating out light, and also D3 used neon lightning for many effects, which all combined made the game look like.In Diablo 2, every single dungeon was dark and had a lot of things that were hiding in the shadows, while in D3 most dungeons are fairly well lit up.D3's item design philosophy put stylization over realism (which lead to giant shoulder pads, absurdly large weapons and overstylized und unrealistic items in general), while in D2 it was vice versa. D3's items are waaay too overstylized and oversized.the tone of D3 is much more flimsy (like villains that could come from a Children's Cartoon Series).Diablo 1 & 2 are in a dark, gothic, horror, fantasy setting, while Diablo 3 is much more like Epic Fantasy.Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread ![]()
